In the tradition of the New York Ballroom Scene, Houses function as alternative families providing guidance and support for their children. Each house has a central figure, usually called the Mother-of-the-House. Each House will walk in categories for trophies and prizes. Recovery houses (rehabs) act in a similar fashion as ballroom houses. They have managers that take on parental roles, guiding their children.
THE BATTLE OF KIKI HOUSES
Kiki Houses will battle live in 10 categories. Each House will represent a local rehab. Cash prizes of $1,500 for first place. $300 for second place, and the others will receive a $100 gift card.
